    United Kingdom dressage star Charlotte Dujardin banned from Olympics over video about horse mistreatment. One of Team GB’s biggest stars, Charlotte Dujardin, has been banned from the Paris Olympics after a video emerged of her abusing a horse.

    The 39-year-old, who has won six Olympic medals in London, Rio and Tokyo, has been suspended for six months after reportedly whipping the legs of a horse while in a coaching session several years ago.

To what extent do the modern writing symbols and abbreviations we take for granted today, such as airport signage and text messaging, resemble ancient ones?
