The FBI contacted Facebook with a warning about "Russian propaganda," according to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, before the shocking Hunter Biden laptop story broke in the run-up to the 2020 presidential election.
During his appearance on Thursday's episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience," Mark Zuckerberg was questioned over Facebook's repression of the New York Post's research that exposed the son of then-candidate Joe Biden's murky international business dealings.

Beginning his speech, Zuckerberg emphasized how Facebook followed a "different path" than Twitter, which fully suppressed the Post's reporting while Facebook restricted its reach on the site.
The FBI, I believe, essentially approached us and other members of our team and said, "Hey, just so you know, like, you should be on.
Hey, just so you know, you should probably be really vigilant... We believed that Russian propaganda permeated the 2016 election heavily. We have notice that, essentially, some sort of dump of that nature is about to occur. Therefore, just be cautious," Zuckerberg advised host Joe Rogan.
